Revisiting My Pinay Scandal Post

My Pinay Scandal post turned 1 year yesterday. As a tribute to that post, I’m revisiting it now and will be giving some updates on the post itself and the ideas and characters behind the post.
- That post gave Menardconnect.com some 9000+ page views (around 20+ views per day)
- Post is still PR1 as of writing
- Some links in my original Pinay Scandal hitlist are down (around 4 of them)
so I have taken off their links for the post. - The experiment is still ongoing in 2010. Kimwell of www.gunbladespecialist.com is the latest one to join the fray.
- I gained new friends online. There were fellow Pinoy bloggers who joined the Pinay scandal experiment that are very sociable and are now my friends in the blogosphere. Some of them I added via my RSS, some have agreed to exchange links, and others I really do regular blog visits during my blog hopping moments
- I had my share of “hostile” comments from that post. Its one of the reasons why I also established my comment policy
- On Pinay, our household cat, the heroine of that post: I learned last Christmas that she was evicted from our house in the province over bad habits (repeated offense of stealing fish/foodstuffs that is served/stocked over the dinner table). We have not seen her yet, although we got reports that she was adopted by a neighbor in our province and is preying on chicks (sisiw) and terrorizing the fighting game cocks (pansabong) in our other house in the province.
- Spiderham the photographer who loves to shoot pinay scandals is now in the blogosphere. Visit his blog at SpiderHamWorld.
- I have not posted my planned article related to pinay scandal 2009. I wish I can finally do the post in 2010

Overall, I learned a lot from that experience (some good lessons on blogging and some SEO concepts from it too). They say that the Pinay Scandal was like a “rite of passage” and that statement seems so true. My thanks to fellow pinay scandal bloggers for making me part of this experiment!
