I just happen to cross into this site. Thanks at meron ka nitong Comment Site na makakapag ‘share’ ng mga tulad nitong scam. Nakatanggap rin ako ng SMS from this Marie a few months ago at alam ko na scam ito. I’m a travel agent in Manila kaya naisipan ko ‘laruin’ itong scam noon. sinagot ko SMS nya at sumagot din sya. Hiningi ko ang travel plans nya at kailan sya luluwas ng Manila,hanggang nahalata yata nya na wala ako mapapadalang pera, tumigil rin sya. BTW, napansin ko, panay male ang prospect nya, Di kaya alam nya kung sino-sino mga pinadadalhan nya SMS? Duda rin ako, hinde babae itong gumagawa nito. Salamat uli at Mabuhay kayo!

i just received an SMS from this Anna Marie Velasco yesterday, Sept 13. Before that, a similar SMS was sent a week ago. How come this scammer was able to obtain our postpaid cellphone numbers? NTC should investigate GLOBE, SMART and SUN as someone from them could be conniving with these text scammers!

This ANNA MARIE VELASCO has been sending my Mom SMS around November/December last year. It’s been our rule not to respond to any messages such as this since this could possibly be a scam. She had been very persistent with her texts, but as always we did not respond. She had stopped texting mid-January and it was until last week that we started receiving messages from her once more. All her SMS had the same underlying message: she needs financial aid so that she can attend the “interview” with SMC.

I suppose we will no longer be hearing from her since her last SMS to us were something in the lines of ‘Sana masaya kayo sa ginawa niyo. Meron kayong pinaiyak na probinsyana dahil sa hindi pagtulong niyo. Sana palakpakan kayo sa ginawa niyo.’ In that case, GOOD RIDDANCE!

The recent sms scam from Anna Marie turns to be revising together with her mobile number in use and the format of asking riskfull favor on the same path. I received 2 sms scam messages from each mobile number +639173617046 on 03 Mar 10:45am and from 7045 13 Mar 10:36pm.
