I updated Menardconnect.com to WordPress 2.8 over the weekend. The WordPress.org site announced that this release is named in honor of noted trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker. Major improvements to the 2.8 release were focused on speed, performance, widgets and themes support. The general look and feel is the same as 2.7x, but I noted some improvements on the admin console performance.
After updating, I also tweaked some settings and added a related post plugin.
I read in some blog posts that sometimes is advisable to write about the future topics that the author is working on. They say this is to inform the readers on what to expect next as well as put some pressure on the author (me) to stick to the blog post game plan. So I will try this advice now. For the next two weeks I plan to write something about:

• A movie that I watched this month – Update 07.08.2009. Done. See my Ambigram post.
• Food stuffs that I like – Update on 07.06.2009. Done. See my You’re the 1, Goldilocks post
• Blog Disclosure Policy – Update on 07.12.2009. Done.  Blog Disclosure Policy page online today.
