Blizzard confirmed that Mist of Pandaria is next WoW Expansion.

I mentioned that August is Tauren month, but it seems I’m wrong and it may be even The Pandaren month. Why? Read on…
Blizzard filed for a trademark for “Mists of Pandaria” at the US Trademark and Patent Office. The trademark filing has the following coverage:
Computer game software; computer game discs; computer game software and related instruction manuals and guides sold together as a unit; downloadable computer game software; computer game software downloadable from a global computer network; downloadable electronic games via the internet and wireless devices; interactive multimedia computer game program; mousepads
and
Entertainment services, namely, providing on-line computer games; providing computer games that may be accessed via a global computer network; providing online news and information in the field of computer games; entertainment services, namely, conducting contests online and providing a website for organizing, planning and executing events between computer game players and interest groups
This is very exciting news and most of the WoW communities are abuzz with the rumor that the Mists of Pandaria will be the next World of Warcraft (WoW) Expansion.
Pandaria is the home of the Pandaren race that was introduced in Warcraft 3. Pandaren are humanoid panda-looking fighters and they love nature and good ales (drinks)
WoWWiki.com describes the Pandarian Empire below:
The Pandaren Empire was founded before the Great Sundering of the world, and is believed to be just as old as the kaldorei civilization. It shared and traded resources, goods, ideas and mystic knowledge with the haughty night elves of central Kalimdor in the years before the War of the Ancients. As the night elves’ obsession with the forces of magic drove them to the brink of madness, the gentle pandaren severed ties, withdrew and closed their borders
Hmm… as old as the Night Elves… interesting. I’ve got many questions than answers but first and foremost: Will the Pandarens stay neutral?
Below is a video of a Pandaren Brewmaster and their Warcraft 3 quotes.
For now nobody can confirm if Mists of Pandaria will really be the next World of Warcraft expansion. But who knows, maybe the upcoming Blizzcon on October 2011 will shed some light on this matter.
There are very interesting discussions at WoW Forums (especially in mmo-champion.com) so I suggest you check it out if you are interested to know.
